Tasting- Protocolo Blanc

Name: Protocolo Blanc
Variety: White Blend
Region: Castilla-La Mancha
Country: Spain
Year: 2009
Price: $6.95

Vintage Cellar Review: Greenish gold. Subtle aromas of mint, lemon and orange, with a hint of honeysuckle. Dry, understated an focused, offering clean citrus and melon flavors and slow-building sweetness. Finishes dry and brisk, with an echo of lemon. As usual, this is an outstanding value.

My Review: I found this wine to be very smooth and refreshing. There were definite hints of orange peel and lemons throughout the palate and nose. This is a very everyday drinkable wine finishing off with little acidity and low tannins.

I did not taste this wine with any food.
